Obituary for Kathryn Robson

Kathryn Mae Robson passed away January 3, 2018 at The Bridge Assisted Living in Longmont. She was 86 years old.

Kathryn was born on September 5, 1931 in David City, NE to Charles Elmer and Mattie F. (Adee) Baker. She graduated from David City High School and went on the University of Nebraska in Lincoln for her Bachelors degree in Education; she then received her Masters in Music from Saint Cloud State College in Minnesota.

She married John M. Robson in David City on August 26, 1951. She lived in Lincoln, Nebraska for 34 years. Kathryn has lived in Longmont, CO for the past 2 years.

Kathryn belonged to St. David’s Episcopal Church where she was the church organist for the entire 34 years

She belonged to PEO Chapter FW; and enjoyed gardening, substitute teaching and various Christian endeavors.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband.

She is survived by her daughters Deb Heller (David), Diana Robson (Teri Simpson) and Denise Robson (Sean Butler); her grandchildren Adam (Jeanny) Heller, Ethan (Kat) Heller and David (Reina) Butler; and eight great-grandchildren with one on the way.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, January 20, 2018 at St. Stephens Episcopal Church. Another service will be held in Lincoln at St. David’s Episcopal Church at a yet to be determined date in May, at which time her ashes will join her husbands in the church columbarium. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or St. David’s Episcopal Church, Lincoln, NE. Cremation entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
