Life Story for Dolores "Lola" Martinez

Lola lived for her children and grandchildren. She made the best Pork Green Chili & was entered by her neighbor in 2 chili contest & won #1 Best Pork Green Chili both times. Everyone who visited was greeted with open arms & always offered to eat. Every meal she made was delicious with love, her touch, & perfect every time. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery and quilting. She made a quilt for each of her 9 children & several of her grandchildren until she couldn't. She was silly, had a reason to laugh all the time, and left us with a proud full Colorado Native legacy of culture, dance, music and food. She enjoyed watching western movies, and doing puzzles. We will miss you dearly mother, but you will never be forgotten as you have left a part of you in all of us.
