Obituary for Grayson Wolff

Grayson Oliver Wolff, age 19, passed away as the result of a motorcycle accident on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017, near Lyons, Colorado.
It is so rare to meet someone with such unlimited potential and boundless passion. From automotive mechanics to music to relationships, Grayson was unparalleled in his dedication to these loves.
He was born in Tucson, Arizona to a beautiful and God fearing family, to parents Donna and Peter Wolff, and sister Lacy Wolff Ewing. It was they who began shaping this uniquely brilliant human being. And at the age of nine he moved with his family to Longmont, Colorado.
As a child, he expressed an insatiable curiosity that continued to grow as he did. He was continuously exploring and expanding his knowledge, reaching out to others and to the world around him.
Music was one of the many ways in which he expressed himself. Having been raised with piano lessons he progressed to violin, singing, and even taught himself to play classical and contemporary styles on guitar. In his desire to share his talent with others, he participated in the local Niwot-based Allentown Band, his church youth worship team at Calvary of Longmont, and the Mead High School String Orchestra, Choral Group, and musicals.
He was known for caring wholeheartedly, giving all of himself to his friends, family, and everything he did. He was limitless in his capacity to love and shared it freely.
Having accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age, Grayson grew with the Holy Spirit. He readily shared his faith with those around him while mentoring other young men at his church and school.
His passion for supercars and motorcycles was well known. Anything with a loud engine and lots of horsepower captivated his attention which motivated him to begin pursuing a career in mechanical engineering. Among his many loves was his 2007 Yamaha R6 on which he was most at peace, enjoying great thrill and freedom, and often saying it was “the best ride ever” on the mountain roads of Colorado.
Grayson loved and was loved unconditionally. He will forever be fondly remembered by his family and numerous friends whose lives were blessed by this bright, loving, and charismatic young man.
A celebration of Grayson’s life will be held on Saturday, April 29th at 10:30am at Calvary Church of Longmont.
